Not really ones to preach after McGrath got away with a fairly blatant knee in the Baa-Baas game.

He was fortunate indeed, though as far as I know he has yet to assault a bangharda, eye gouge, head butt, punch or elbow a bake, bite, be a member of a swim team or just be a total tosser.BuckRogers wrote:Not really ones to preach after McGrath got away with a fairly blatant knee in the Baa-Baas game.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Best keeping him in the England squad anyway, he's easily got at so with any luck he'll trip himself up and not be able to get out of it at the RWC.

Didn't understand the report. It wasn't a red card AND they took his record into account. If it wasn't a red, wtf has his record got to do with it?

BR you are not going to tell me that the RFU are going to suspend another of their players without him running up a rap sheet the length of his arm.BR wrote:Didn't understand the report. No, but if he's not guilty, then why mention his record?

He's starting to get a bit of a reputation as a cheap shot merchant. Knee to the back in a non competitive end of season celebration game is fairly low. Not that there is any excuse for it in a competitive game either.BuckRogers wrote:Not really ones to preach after McGrath got away with a fairly blatant knee in the Baa-Baas game.
Mind you, if a turnip had dropped the knee on Cheatawalu yesterday, he have got a medal.

Any excuse not to cite him, even an irrelevant one.BR wrote:No, but if he's not guilty, then why mention his record?

That's the other incident I had in mind.BuckRogers wrote:Tramped on Rory at the OurDS as well.Snipe Watson wrote:He's starting to get a bit of a reputation as a cheap shot merchant. He received a Level 1 citing. Which apparently after taking circumstances into account is not a citing ...
So why a citing in the first place?

OK - I understand he wasn't actually cited. The report I heard suggested he'd been cited and cleared.
His record comes into play because if he had have been on a couple of yellows already this would have been the equivalent of a third and enough to trigger disciplinary action.

Only saw it briefly, but I think a red would have been harsh.Rovi Snave wrote:Complete joke
