Biarritz snatch Aussie centre

French club Biarritz have made a successful hit-and-run recruiting mission in Australia, signing up promising Warringah centre Haig Sare.
The 23-year-old will fly to France on Saturday on a six-month contract with the possibility of an extension if his form continues.
Sare's lightning departure has disrupted coach John Briggs' plans for Friday night's match against West Harbour at Pittwater Rugby Park and Briggs lamented the loss of a player he believed had been in outstanding form.
"He's a champion bloke and a champion player, and we wish him all the best," Briggs said.
"He's been our best player this year and it's surprising that the Australian provinces haven't seen just how good he is and signed him up."
