Irish down to 14.
Loosehead red card for head to head contact on blues tighthead in tackle.

Deemed as "poor tackle technique, so tackler at fault, although it was the ball carrier with the forward momentum and slightly stooped that caused the collision.

Definite red in the current climate, but I do have some sympathy with the tackler - it's going to be that everyone will have to tackle really low to avoid these.

The 14 men have just scored a nice try though 20-20 game on.

Irish now down to 13 for 10 minutes for an elbow by Irish winger "cowboy supper" style.

Not red, just yellow

Paddy just missed two penalties in succession to touch by trying to go too long.

Also conceded a penalty by running the ball back and getting isolated.

Trying too hard

This is getting out of hand. Watching the red card at the time I actually thought the Cardiff player led with his head. Then the yellow card was an absolute joke. The Cardiff player immediately joined the defensive line and was not injured. They're trying to turn rugby into a on contact sort. Absolute bollicks

Can't disagree with any of that.

Cardiff score again with try off what looked like a forward pass - not checked. It was close.

20-32

Cardiff on a warning for "neck-rolls" - told next contact with neck area would result in yellow. Another neck roll just went unpunished.

However, they were playing advantage for Blues jumping across in the lineout - now on a yellow card warning for that too.

Seem to be going through the various penalty offences and getting warned for each individually.

Can anyone tell me is the woman's game blighted by over-officiating? The way this is heading we'll be playing a mixed tag 6 Nations in a couple of years time.

27-32 Try Irish.

Playing advantage and ref was looking for number of offender.

Has not shown yellow, presumably because Irish scored.

Poor officiating imo.

If he's asking TMO for a number to show yellow, he should follow through on that irrespective if opposition score or not.
