Irish win

deservedly so - you wouldn't have thought they were the team with 14.

Only when down to 13 did they look really vulnerable.

Not often I celebrate an "English" team beating a Pro-14 team.

And wonder of wonders the 42 carrying a report of the match with Garry Doyle dialling down the clickbait to zero..... where will it ever end ?

The usual wee comment of, "he shouldn't have been accused of something he didn't do" nonsense though.

Happy to see during the match the commentators drew attention to the flying wedge but they failed to to explain it is already defined as dangerous play and illegal .

and if every 5 metre try was reviewed in the same manner as some toys for crossing -- my bet would be at least 75 to 85% would be disallowed.

anyway back to PJ -- the boot wasn't as sure this week but his vision and passing are streets ahead of anything currently playing in Ireland long - or short missing the inside centre or a wee flick inside the sureness of touch -- it is not something you learn --its a gift

Carberry sees gaps,ut lacks the sureness of touch and vision of what is outside him.
