England Saxons vs Ireland A
This is probably a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone is thinking of, or going to this game?
I'm contemplating going, since I won't get to many matches this season, and the drive to Bath isn't that bad.

I know aarons is going. I may be going but haven't booked anything yet but hope to confirm one way or another tomorrow. If so, I'll be getting the train from London to allow some

I have to admit I might wait to see who's on the team...*is not shallow at all*...well I do like supporting the Ulstermen.

Will you be supporting Leinster next season?
I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right

He always will be an Ulsterman - at least that's what I'm going to tell myself to make myself feel better! I'll just be telling myself that while wearing a Leinster shirt.....

Paddy Wallace? Guess that means D'arcy starts for the big boys and ROG/Sexton take flyhalf and bench.
Caldwell ahead of DT/Ed? Touhy will be nothing but tackle bag holder with the main squad.
Not to get too worked up, its an A squad, and in these mini series' everyone usually gets a turn

Don't see Chris Henry there, in line for a 6 Nations spot?

Re: England Saxons vs Ireland A
Noticed it was a 22 man squad - unusual these days - so I assume it is the actual starting 15 + replacements.
Hooker - Best will game time (as said already)
Prop - Horan will get game time also
2nd row - O'Driscoll with Caldwell/Toner
Back row - Jennings/Muldoon/O'Brien/Ronan
Centre - Cave/Matthews/McFadden
Scrum half - each to get a half
10 - IH with Paddy as replacement
Wings - Dowling/Murphy
Full back - Hurley
Don't expect a starting lineup of Boss/Hump/Wallace/Cave.

I'm very tempted, I have to admit.

That is crazy if true, why are people still pushing paddy as a 10??
Insane, after a stormer of a game at 12 as well against Bath
Re: England Saxons vs Ireland A
IMO the desire for Paddy to get gametime at 10 does not relate to him being under consideration for a start at 10. It relates to two other areas of selection.
Wallace/D'Arcy at centre and how the emergency use of Wallace at 10 enables a different selection of replacements including potentially another forward. It is correct IMO that DK et al should go through these thought processes prior to selection of the 6N teams. By stating now that they want Paddy to have gametime at 10 suggests already which direction they would wish to go.
