Ireland v Scotland

D'Arcy and Wallace (David) doubtful.
I'd bring Paddy into the centre and keep Earls on the wing. Kearney showed up better when he came off the pine but I'd keep him there for this game.
Presumably Jennings would come in for Wally with O'Brien on the pine. But DK seems to shift the pecking order for no apparent reason at times, so it might be O'Brien to play and McLoughlin on the bench. We do need our best back row playing well - Scots back row has gone well so far.

BOD will want to play 13, that should be enough to swing it for Paddy to start.
I'd start SOB now at 7 if there's no Wally. Jennings i dont think is good enough for this level. SOB may or may not be but at least he has time and potential on his side. similar player to wallace too.

O'Brien won't be taking any part in the game against Scotland as he broke his leg a few weeks ago.
If Wallace can't play no doubt Jennings will come in as openside flanker. I'm not sure who would be next in the pecking order for bench cover. Kidney has used Donnacha Ryan as a flanker before - so he might get the call.

Ryan is also injured, probably Kevin McLaughlin will get the nod with Chris Henry as a possible alternative.....

Henry actually has a good chance - he offers more tham McLaughlin in terms of cover across the back row.

oh, didn't know that. All the best to him.
Jennings will prob get the nod on experience grounds.
If Ryan is out then prob McLoughlin for bench, alternatives being Henry as mentioned and Ronan.

Think Wallace is ok to play.
D'Arcy still doubtful so options are straight swap for Paddy or Kearney to wing and Earls to centre.
Like to see to PW get another chance.

Unchanged team against Scotland
Ireland Coach Declan Kidney has named an unchanged team for the second week in a row for Ireland's last game in the RBS 6 Nations Championship.
Fittingly for the final game in Croke Park the match will mark a 70th Ireland cap for Paul O'Connell who led Ireland out for the first rugby international there against France in 2007.
Centre Gordon D'Arcy has been included in the starting XV as he continues to recover from the deep bruising to his leg. He will be monitored in training and a final decision made on Friday.

No surprise here.Kidney will want to win the last game in Croker and will believe gowling around with a winning team will lessen that chance.

The only surprise is that Hayes is still there because to be honest watching him against the Welsh he looked knackered at the kick-off never mind at 50 mins its becoming embarrassing watching him shuffle across the pitch to stand blind side at the ruck.
And the Scots will drop every scrum just to wear him down like Murray goes down faster than £10 hooker

Still worried about Murphy in there, he's bound to have a fluff sooner or later, he only had one tackle to make against Wales according to the stats. I think Paddy should be on the bench if theres a doubt about Darcy, although BOD/Earls did well on Saturday.

Classical DK....championship (no chance really) and Triple Crown why change a winnig team. Anybody got an insight as to what Court did to get dropped from squad..its not as if Buckley is storming although he looks better ..is it a mind game thing or is it because Court is not meeting something DK needs ????

My take on the Court/Buckley matter is that Buckley is seen as Bull's replacement (according to Les Kiss), but Court is the backup to either side of the scrum. Buckley is there for gametime as Healy is expected to last 80 mins so Court is less favoured being slightly stronger on the left
Still worried about Murphy in there, he's bound to have a fluff sooner or later, he only had one tackle to make against Wales according to the stats. I think Paddy should be on the bench if theres a doubt about Darcy, although BOD/Earls did well on Saturday.
