Nah, not really Rooster, I was cloaking myself in a robe of despondency to avoid possible hurt. When you have endured as much misery as an Ireland supporter as I have, the last thing you need is a another heartbreaker.

I saw them 4 successive Paris matches in my youth & they lost 2 by 1 point, I actually was in tears at the end of one of them, we were feckin' robbed, Freddie MacLennan scored a great try right in front of me but there were no TMOs in those days and the clown with the whistle decided he was unsighted. :duh:

Today it's as if written as a send off to the preordained MOTM. :cheers:
