If France had had a half decent place kicker they might well have won that game. The psychological advantage to France of building up a significant points lead could have been too much for England. But they blew it.

Dont think Willie John would agreed with that snipe and Baggy.
If he saw a prop running about like that he would have a go at them for wasting unnecessary scrum energy.

As for the French they have to play like that as its in their very dna to do so.
Lopez being withdrawn by clermont the night before the game was not helpful and demontrates the very nature of their problem.
