Ireland Player Payout
Just read that if the England squad win the RWC they will share a massive bonus of 6 million pounds.
Is the Ireland team on any kind of similar deal? How much? Can't imagine it being close to that.
What's the match fee for an Ireland player these days anyway?

I'd be pretty sure they would be on as much as nothing. For all the IRFU do some daft things, I find it hard to believe anyone has actually contemplated winning the thing .............not even in Fibber's wildest dreams.Spiffsson wrote:Just read that if the England squad win the RWC they will share a massive bonus of 6 million pounds.

I believe they are on a large meal at McDonalds to beat Canada, and I hear Tommy Bowe has promised footlong Subways all round if he scores 3 tries against Romania.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

If we won the RWC I'd have no hesitation in handing over 6 million to the squad......if I had it lying about the place just taking up space.
Feck the money - That's no interest to me. Just give me the rugby I want.

Just watching the Fijian anthem. Doesn't look like they're thinking about the cash.

Six million pounds worth would be a hell of a heap of tornips.Snipe Watson wrote:Do the Munster lads get their bonus in root vegetables?Once a Knight wrote:There will be a schedule of win bonuses as there is with the 6Ns.
