They look pretty hopeless. Most likely because of a lack of Ulstermen in the team...

Watched enough of a Noel Mcnamara coached team to know what to expect. Grim

POC didn't stay too long in that setup.

Fair play Ireland. That will hurt the English.

Ireland did well to win. England were gifted 2 tries. They weren't as good as you'd have expected. Indeed one could say they were lucky to be within 20 points of an average Ireland team.

And they had Marcus Smith the Quins 10 in their side. Bookies had Ireland 14 points underdogs.

McNamara is a clueless coach at this level. Ireland won despite him.

Did he not come through on the Leinster private schools conveyor belt?

Hey, don't tell Ulster rugby folk on an Ulster rugby forum to cut the bias crap.

If we can't indulge in that on here, where can we?

Very good match - Ireland started well but then had a horrendous sloppy 20 mins, looked like a return to the absolute shambles of a side McNamara put out over the summer, but in fairness they righted the ship and thoroughly deserved the win.

Some great performances - the 8 Hodnett was brilliant, half-backs had great games (lets see the next couple of matches, but H Byrne could be better than Ross - great kicking game but also a bit of gas and a break), both centres impressed and Flannery and Wren very impressive.

Hopefully they can follow it up with a good win in Scotland

Ireland won 24-5 in Scotland. 3 tries, it was not on tv. Highlights on Scottish Rugby website early next week.

Good result - interesting to see England put France to the sword, despite France having quite a few players still in the squad from their JWC winning side last year (including Joseph - still just 18  crazy..)

Angus Kernohan and David McCann are the Ulster representatives in the 20s squad for the game in Italy on Friday.

And I believe others were also injured
