for dog and ulcer wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2019 12:21 pm POC criticised Henderson and no others. He didn't, for example, offer any criticism of Murray.
POC is there to cheerlead the Munster players. Mike TIndell has been laying into POM. Quite rightly.

Whatever about POC but I agree about POM. I've been calling it out through 2019.
Anyone claiming that Hendo has not been awful as well though is not being honest.
Hendo is carrying at least 3 other players in the Forward Pack.

Eddie O'Sullivan being very critical of the Ireland team on RTE and how they didn't win with panache and good tries etc.
Couldn't resist thinking of Eddie's Ireland just about beating Georgia 14 10 in 2007.

It would be better overall if he concentrated on carrying the ball.

As for him carrying 3 players - Does he only do that for the 20 minutes he actually plays or does it include the remaining time he is doing his disappearing act. Indeed he disappears in games so much he could join the backrow(Ruddock & VDF excepted) who are also non-existent through large parts of the game.

Everybody has bought into the story despite the evidence of the 2019 6N. The last time I recall us playing with panache was probably v NZ in Chicago. 3 fecking years ago.

Go back 3 years and Ireland had a handful of players who were in the discussion for a world XV.
How many would there be now? Probably one.

Sean Cronin is the world's leading 16. Nobody else comes close to 62 non starts.

The Russian out half should have got man of the match in my book every kick he made was telling his 'up and under " were exceptional good the whole game .. hardly any did the receiver catch unchallenged and with the slippy ball many were being knocked on .

Ireland playing a flat backline it was ball and man for most of the match until Carty started to kick and drop them behind the defenders of the defenders .

With the team that was fielded, Aki having his worst game ever in an Irish Jersey ( see above as his only excuse) a slippy ball and slippy ground it was never going to be a classic or high scoring game -- the early score didn't help the cause giving the players the impression it was going to be easy and nobody wanting to get injured in an easy game. Bonus point achieved -- happiness i suppose .

Cocka

There is a difference between opinions and decisions -- those who have opinions seldom make decisions .

If the decision had been made before the end of the trial -- both of the players would have known -- Rugby circles are two small and bad news gets out quick --The Jackson Family have too many connections within those circles not too have known.

Conspiracy is your stock in trade -- The decision took too long to be made public -- social media was allowed to fester with anti rugby bulls--t too long -- for the decision to have been made before the end of the trial .

No doubt there were and are those who would push anybody and everybody to the wolves given a chance but those who push seldom bite ----and those who bite don't need to push.
