Never thought 10 was his best position to be honest his kicking was not his strongest asset.

Let's hope it's not serious enough to keep him out of the Pro 14!!! To be honest I don't think his name was ever on the Japan squad sheet so an injury wouldn't be keeping him off the plane.

No harm to Joey but a crisis at 10 would be very satisfying.

Awful game.

Typical pre-season run out some effort and once a lead had been established it was fling the ball around regardless — hence bad handling from bad passes .

While 42 oozes over Carberry and there were some nice touches — there were also was a fair share of fart in bottle play from him.

Not to sure why Herring came off at least he appeared to be walking normally and didn’t appear to be holding an arm
Or hand — hopefully it was just a bang on the head — and the subs were going to be used anyway

One of those games that I half watched, really just a case of trying to not get people injured at this stage. While Ruddock and Murphy in the back row are good players, they haven't really made me think of them as game changers.

South Africa stuffed Argentina 46-13 and won Rugby Championship after NZ losing to Australia. Ireland face a hard QF regardless if they beat Japan and Scotland.

Beginning to look like quite an open World Cup, money still on all blacks but they don't have a lot of historically world class players. Only saw 5 minutes of South Africa highlights but they looked very physical, even their out half can take some stopping.
Ireland I don't fancy at all, England probably the nh's best hope.

Ruddock is Ireland's most successful captain to date - 7 from 7 ;)
