To be honest the way that Ulster players have been treated I have lost total interest in Ireland a long time ago after being a regular attender at Lansdowne for years. Whether they win or lose is of absolutely no interest to me whatsoever

Can anyone realistically think that Ireland can win the 6N? Can they really get a bonus point win in Paris? There's a very outside chance of scraping a win if the French implode but any more? Not a chance.

A win for Ulster on Monday in Cardiff would be a better bet, and keep me happy.

Expect England to put a cricket score on Italy and win the 6N.

Ireland should kick every 3 pointer they get a sniff at. A bonus point is a mammoth ask. England start against Italy at -25 points difference effectively and Italy can be plucky at home. Ireland have the benefit of playing second at least so they will know that it's required. Needing to beat France by 12-15 points is an entirely different prospect than trying to win with four tries.

I am extremely cautiously optimistic. I would be slightly more optimistic if Ireland hadn't given up those late 7 points last weekend.

France and Ireland need to play touch for the first 20', then when it's 28-28. Start playing properly.

Herring is 25-1 to get the first try.

Garbisi is 100-1 to get the first try in the England match which is fairly generous for someone who’s scored every other game in his fledgling career.

If Ireland win by one point that would be a fantastic result.
Statistically it is unlikely that we can win and the French seem organised for the first time in a decade.
Furlong and Henderson are big losses to carry.

France have beaten Ireland once in the last nine games.

If Ireland win then that would be four wins in a row which has happened since 1930.

What happens if England and Ireland end up on equal points and equal points scored/conceded difference?
