If this tour ever comes about, Ian McGeehan publishes his xv on Bbc web pages today, 7 English, 3 each from Wales and Scotland, thus 2 from Ireland.......Furlongs and Ryan.
Fair?
Maybe 2 too many from Ireland?

I don't think Geeks has kept up with the modern game, he demonstrated how out of touch he is when he was involved with Leeds, he seems to be stuck in the past with some of his decisions.

And would the reason for no Dublin or Edinburgh simply be ground capacity is ticket income?
Maybe UR could form a new group, charge 65 quid for membership which gets you into a draw for a ticket..........which you won't get!

Furlong maybe... Ryan because there's no-one else... but Murray's well past his best.

Hendo?

A year ago Stockdale would have been in the mix.

Correct. We Irish should have nathin to do with thon Imperialistic anachronism ... 'specially now there's a border down the Irish sea :stir: ;)

I'd draw the line at supporting the Saffers mind. It's the rugby equivalent of Celtic v Rangers for me.

With Paddy J playing so well for London Irish and with Gatlands similar experience with IRFU in terms of how he was manipulated out the door would it not be ironic if he picked Paddy for the Lions.
In reality it probably would not happen as the home unions have inputs into the team selection but I make a wish every day!!!!!!
