Six if you include Soda, which I always do ... more "Ulster" than Billy or Rob :red:

Nah. Sold his soul to Munster. He's dead to me now.

So Andy Farrell picks a tight head at loose head and places Healy on the bench. Eric O'Sullivan is brought down for tackle bag practice.
A disgrace. Farrell couldn't run a tap.

I believe 'tatey' is the word you're looking for.

Well it’s odd. With the prop specialists on the bench (8 subs nowadays) for me it only makes sense if Ire now consider him a LH going forward with ability to cover the TH in a double injury scenario - otherwise it’s a wasted opportunity to get some scrumming into EOS if he is considered to Have an international future at LH.

Healy has been a quality operator but there’s a lot of miles on the clock. In all honesty he shouldn’t be on the bench, if EOS is injury free. Likewise POM shouldn’t be on the bench - if there is a tactical/gameplay issue - The young players need to figure it out should’ve been vdf instead.

Got help Farrell if we lose to Scotland - I wonder if they need gametime into bealham at LH as he will be covering there for the Scot game.

I hope SMcC tears it up and offloads!!

With prop injuries at Ulster EoS may be better going to Edinburgh than sitting on a bench in Dublin.

Sorry for McCloskey only being played against a 3 tier defensive side which won't enhance his profile . Personnal I see no point in playing Aki playing the same game as McCloskey because in my book the best metre running 12 is McCloskey if you your trying for invention and creative play at 12 I would pick Marshall before McCloskey and I would have Marshall on the bench too before some .

But unfortunately he ,Marshall, is going the way of the wounded ,work hard, get back, play four games, and back to square one, snakes and ladders with to many snakes.

Dire. Woeful. Totally underwhelming. Rugby league not union. Poor rugby league. Farrell is out of his depth completely as a coach.

At least we will get some players back for ulster. Always a lose lose situation in these games, bug stu must be cursing his luck; he will be tarnished by todays overall result but I would say aki or henshaw wouldn't have faired any better today in that team.

It's wild how they appear to be playing with no direction whatsoever. Utterly baffling. Billy Burns looking half lethal in an Ireland shirt in ways that he doesn't in white. A shame that Stu's try was chalked off. One of those matches that will just be forgotten about and Ireland will just move on. I'll be checking the piggy bank for spare change to put on Scotland next week.

Roll on tomorrow night.

Dire game all round. If I was a Georgian, I might be pretty content. I didn't know both David Humphries and Neil Doak are with Georgia. https://www.talkingrugbyunion.co.uk/exc ... /28419.htm
