Notwithstanding the presence of various revered musos, my personal highlight was Paul Jones singing Doo Wah Diddy.

I quite enjoyed Bonnie Tyler croak her way though 'Total Eclipse....' too.

I skilfully managed to co-ordinate my trip to the toilet with Mick Hucknall's appearance on stage.

I'm still unsure why the Sikh of Tweak, Monty Panesar, was playing the tambourine during the finale of 'All You Need is Love".

Probably cos he can't play the guitar I suppose.

In our quarantined existence, BBC Sounds app is a godsend. Try Letter from America, by Alastair Cooke. For those too young to remember, a Brits oral weekly commentary on life in America, covering Vietnam, presidential elections, Iraq, 9/11, Watergate ......you name it. 1300 15 minute episodes available. Listen by theme or by date. Priceless.......but free!

Anybody listened to any of this 8D music? I've just been introduced to is and it's pretty impressive at first then, for me at least, doesn't do much apart from a little motion sickness. Here's the best on offer (in my humble opinion)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Gl-u3wDCO0 ;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1n-U4h2CYwI (way better than the original and the 8D make it even creepier);
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdVjVtpr55M (another fine version of the same song, not 8D);
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2MgSfxN5iE (another classic);
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=271hkUMlwrE (this one of my all-time favourites but gains nothing from moving about inside your head) and finally
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYww3-ut3vQ (why mess about with the king - waste of technology)

and finally finally, from about two minutes in, pretty close to 8D in 1970: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8i4Rp3qizk

Yes, there may well be a better way to fill these shut-in days.
