NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

You just gotta love the logic of thon councillor guy - the unprofessionalism of the PSNI put the lives of Irish citizens in danger, if they were shot at by Irish dissidents. Not even a hint of irony or a suggestion that the Irish dissidents might just be the ones to put their fellow-countrymen's lives in danger if they tried to murder ...... sorry, repel ..... I meant repel the British invasion force.

Agreed Grumps. Incredible stuff really.

His family have previous with police though(His Da got €2.5 million in a High Court Settlement in a police harrassment suit) and he was questioned himself during the same murder investigation so he may just be letting this get a grip on his emotions or he could simply be a Class A numbskull. Either way it sounds utterly ludicrous.

Better not let him down round Clones or Newtonbutler or between Monaghan and Armagh either as it is regular to see An Garda Síochána and PSNI in each others territory, even seen them having a chat at the side of the road

Pretty sure there are some parts of both the Republic and NI around Newtownbutler/Clones that you can only reach by road after driving through the other jurisdiction first.

Yip and I have seen both in them, only way you know where you are is the line at the side of the road changes from white to yellow and vice versa

brings me back to one I posted in another thread last week where BBC subtitles stated that this was the "Chinese Year of the Whores"

I'm afraid that this would only have been in poorer taste if the award only had half a leg.
The bottom line in this is that a young woman has died in a very tragic way.
Taking bets on the outcome of the man who pulled the trigger, "walking" away a free man, well it's just :pukel:
