Mad as a bag of weasels.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

What kind of an idiot allows a story like that to go into a newspaper?
Those poor children will be humiliated in school.

Feck, wonder what the DUP stance on that is

Am I alone in not being freaked out by this? A mother who doesn't hate her children, who spends time educating them and engaging with them, when most kids are raised by the feckin TV - seems pretty positive to me.

It is a bit weird though you got to admit

I'm not freaked out Yin, I do find it bizarre though. I also find homeschoolers bizarre except in England, they have given up on general education in England, much of it in the hands of nutters and zealots.

On the other hand, just on the simple practicalities, it would do my crust in.

Maybe taken slightly further than I would. But frankly if you're going to have 4 kids, you're as well enjoying spending time with them and home schooling seems like a reasonable investment of time and effort.

It must be a hell of a bedroom to fit an 18ft bed, but it's funny how trends change from old one roomed houses sleeping ma, da and all 12 youngsters (maybe not so much a trend as a product of finances) to this modern, somehow very British idea of every kid having their own room, TV, phone, bathroom, minder, whatever and mum and dad both working busy full time jobs.

Fair play to them for breaking the mould. A bit unconventional though, yes.

150 years ago it was commonplace. Well I wasn't there myself, but possibly. I'd imagine going further back it was a way to keep warm and protect your offspring. Going back 6000 years it was possibly biblical. Looks pretty darn cozy anyway but as snipe says it will get them wains bullied. If they aren't already...

I'd say they are winning at being middle class though. So north down.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
