They infamously played the Ulster Hall and part of the balcony almost collapsed due to teenyboppers jumping up and down etc. Played loads of other places too - even the Tonic in Bangor. Most recently they played at the Commons in Donaghadee at a free open air gig a couple of years ago.
I attended none of these - whilst I have many guilty secrets going to see the Rollers was not one of them. Indeed I was annoyed at them because the damage caused at their Ulster Hall gig meant that it closed for repairs for some time and Rory Gallagher’s annual gig was moved to the Grosvenor Hall which did not have anything like the same atmosphere!,
Hope is not a strategy.

Michael Collins, the one Apollo 11 astronaut who didn't get to walk on the moon, has passed away aged 90.

I see that John McAfee has shuffled off this mortal coil.

I wonder will news of his death go viral?

He was also anti-McAfee. Never used his own product.

Just read his Wiki bio. Seems like a classic 'tortured soul'. (no pun in there, just a comment on a sad bloke)

Who along with Dick Cheney drove the narrative for the gulf war in 2003. The real villain who should have been dragged to The Hague.
