I think the authorities are following what the MRNA manufacturers are saying about the 3/4 week interval for the second shot.
As I said, there is a big ramp up underway as the supplies come in and the vaccination levels should even out. The sooner the better.

Good man Merve. I had my second dose last week. Didn't take a flinch out of me.

Crazy situation down south yesterday with people being turned away from vaccination centres as they pulled the AZ vaccine. If they don't want it could they please give it to another country who will use it.

Had my first one a few weeks ago - Pfizer (carer) no adverse reactions

Mrs Grumpy had her first last Friday - AstraZenica (60+) moderate flu symptoms after 12 hours, clearing after 36 hours

I had the AZ - all very smooth with no side effects whatsoever!
However trying to book Mrs Indaruck in for hers today (50+) was a nightmare - wait for almost 3 hours online only to be offered Omagh or Derry both of which are a 1 1/2 hours away at best! Will try again after a day or so!

There are a lot of people in that 50-59 group. I got in straight away with a full choice of venues but that was at 7:30 am yestetday.

Keep trying. When they add a new age category the numbers of people trying to book are colossal. Supply is supposed to be increasing this week with extra capacity provided by the brits.

Encouraging to hear that 50+ is considered "young" 😊

Have to say I was struck that at 57, about 50% of the UK adult population is older or more vulnerable than me!
