Is that Rita Duffy's nipper?
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Re: What are you listening to?
Grainne didn't mention her parents last night. Nor can I find out what age she is although I'd guess about 30 and she seems to come from Castleblaney. Rita Duffy (presume you mean the Belfast Artist) is about 55 so could possibly be her mother but don't think she has ever lived in Castleblaney. So the answer to your question is "Probably not", but I could be wrong.

Bought Foy Vance's "Joy of Nothing" last week. He is very under-rated.
It's the hope that kills you.

Class act Rory ... class act
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"
Re: What are you listening to?
Some great Foy Vance stuff on YouTube
His live album, recorded at Bangor Abbey, has been delayed until February however he's doing lots of offers if you pre-order.
Details on www.foyvance.com soon.
Apparently the Bangor Abbey shows were classics.

Certainly to be enjoyed without other distractions other than maybe a pint!pythagoras wrote:Pink Floyd, music to watch paint dry
Personally if watching the paint dry floats your boat (did you see what I did there?), go for it!

That's the thing. You could quite happily watch a high gloss dry to perfection while listening to Pink Floyd - in fact, it might be an ideal way to do it.Ampersand wrote:Certainly to be enjoyed without other distractions other than maybe a pint!pythagoras wrote:Pink Floyd, music to watch paint dry

The new album has distinct echoes ( see what I did there?) of classic Floyd from what I've heard so far.
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.
