I don't know anyone who has messed about with so many genres of music. I always liked the heavy bass drumming, nothing subtle about Meg and his guitar stuff is not for everyone, still he's a popular guy over a long time & many reinventions so I'm not alone. He's very loyal, still keeping his wife's surname though the divorced ages back.
Here's a well known white stripes song, enjoy bitches. Best listened to loud ...........louder than that FFS, and preferably headphones.
I wouldn't be a massive white stripes fan but do like them. Meg's minimalist drumming can be off putting. I like a couple of raconteurs tracks. The concept of a two person band is something I like. As part of my whistle-stop tour of Belfast and NI culture, it's off to the Waterfront on Saturday night for the Ulster Orchestra Burns Night extravaganza, still high, no doubt, from a try-fest at the Kingspan.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
