The razor blade was German made
But the sheet was Irish linen
2B or not 2B that is the question ?

For those too young to understand Boggie's comment:

THE BALLAD OF WILLIAM BOAT
By Raymond Calvert.

In a mean abode on the Shankill Road
Lived a man called William Boat.
He had a wife, the curse of his life,
Who continually got his goat.
So one day at dawn, with her nightdress on,
He cut her bloody throat.

With a razor gash he settled her hash,
Oh never was crime so quick,
But the steady drip on the pillow slip
Of her lifeblood made him sick,
And the pool of gore on the bedroom floor
Grew clotted cold and thick.

And yet he was glad that he'd done what he had,
When she lay there stiff and still,
But a sudden awe of the angry law
Struck his soul with an icy chill.
So to finish the fun so well begun,
He resolved himself to kill.

Then he took the sheet off his wife's cold feet,
And twisted it into a rope
And he hanged himself from the pantry shelf.
'Twas an easy end, let's hope.
In the face of death with his latest breath,
He solemnly cursed the Pope.

But the strangest turn to the whole concern
Is only just beginnin'.
He went to Hell but his wife got well,
And she's still alive and sinnin',
For the razor blade was German made,
But the sheet was Irish linen.

I'm still here!!

For those of you who remember me, I've not been around as I've been massively pregnant. This resulted in the birth of 'Wee Baby' (a girl) on Mothers Day of all days, so my time is now being taken up with being a Wee Mummy.

I've only missed 2 home games and in that time Ulster have doubled their home win tally - I'm a bit scared to go back now incase I'm the jinx!

I just need to find out how to post pictures (jpegs) on this board and I will follow up with Wee Baby's formal announcement.

Don't panic by the way, her first teddy bear was a Sparky bear. We tried to get a mini Ulster Rugby kit yesterday but SS Moore's had none in stock - grrrr!

Congratulations Wee Woman / Wee Mummy :)

If you post the photo to a photo website, ie. photobucket, bebo, myspace, then right click on the image > View Image > paste the link in your browser bar.
For example, I want a Sparky pic from my bebo, I found it in the photo album, right clicked on the pic, went to view image and got this link:
http://file017b.bebo.com/5/large/2007/0 ... 09807l.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
To then get the image directly onto the site you need to use image tags, as above (with the bold, italics, etc.)

Voila :)

If you still can't get it I can post screenshots if you like.
Some people say I used to be called Colzo. Don't listen to them people, I talk much less sense than Colzo.

Thanks for that Colzo, must give that a go later!

Loving your tag line by the way, I'm pretty nifty with cleaning up vomit at the moment but I'm taken, sorry!

Well, nice girls that wipe up vomit are quite hard to come by, so you must be a real gem ;)

No need for all the hoo-ha about posting them online etc that Colzo detailed Wee Mammy (although you can do that if you want).

When posting on here you can now add attachments (eg jpg's).

Below the submit & preview buttons and to the left, there is a red "upload attachment" icon. click on that and browse to the photo(s) on your computer and "add".

Just ensure they're not too big, but if they are, the site will warn you. In that case, use whatever photo editing software you normally do to create a new smaller version and post it.

Looking forward to seeing photos of the bairn :)

Hope you're both doing well.

I thought someone had died. That's good news, at least!

I'm not dead either, just been busy. I've managed to watch a few Ulster games on TV, but haven't made it to a game this season. Which is shocking. The Big Day is this week, so hopefully when we're back from honeymoon we'll actually have some time to ourselves and could actually make it to Ravers before the season ends.

I like to think I'm Ulster's good luck charm....!!

i haven't gone away you know... :terror: just been a bit busy as been on a secondment and that 'crackbook' nonsense is quite addictive... i'll make more effort from henceforth onwards :eye:

to be honest, watching ulster last season was painful. lack of ambition has been excruciating
