Tickets for this weekend's final are being charged at a rip-off 125 Euro on Needaticket.ie - twice face value. I'm a journalist doing a story on this, interested for some fans' feedback on this.

Can't see too many Ulster supporters needing to pay the tours that money.

Plenty of pre-sale tickets distributed by Ulster supporters to each other last week, and I foresee plenty of actual tickets changing hands this week for face value and a pint. I'd like to think anyone touting will get burned, but I fear the demand from Leinster may be high enough for someone to make a few € profit.

UR saying there are only 200 tickets left. They go on sale from 12 noon today via Ticketmaster only.

100+ Mexicans joining us in the North stand then. UR could have sold those over the counter no problem at all.

That's a poor article IMO - why is there this ongoing impression that the decisions around this final are 100% Ulster Rugby's? :banghead:

This is the RABOBANK's final - they had the final say on everything - even George Hook was saying that on Radio Ulster this morning and he's a Southern based media man.

The bit about the ticket touting might be correct now (although I couldn't see anything for sale on eBay the other night) but the rest of it points to UR as the ones who have let their fans down which is inaccurate.

Get me defending UR lol.

Wee woman, I would be on Ebay daily and as a going interest I regularly checked to see if any Rabo Pro 12 Final tickets for sale. I didn't see any myself but that's not to say there were none. I would confirm though I checked daily.

No real sign of any on most of the usual touting sites either. Good indication that both sets of fans are playing ball.

Ahhh, sure I made it onto 5 live a month or two back; Sky sports a few years ago; not to mention the stuff I did for ESPN ... But nothing tops being published on UAFC

I've left a wee message on the Tele page pointing out that the anger being vented was from Rutherford himself.

I wonder will he have the decency to come back and answer.

1/ Did he really need 2 tickets after being let down by a friend?
2/ Did he get sorted for tickets and how?
3/ Did he receive any payment from the touting website whose name he repeatedly mentions here (and on Facebook IIRC) and in the Telegraph piece?

A reporter working for a reputable local newspaper writing on rugby cannot get access to tickets? >bs
