Northern Bank Schools Bowl Final

Foyle and Londonderry College were worthy winners of the Northern Bank Schools' Bowl Final played at Ravenhill on 20th February
Cambridge House Grammar School took on Foyle and Londonderry College in the final of the Northern Bank Schools' Bowl. A large contingent of supporters accompanied both teams, and the enthusiasm was obvious from arrival.
Cambridge House began well, taking the first score of the game, with a penalty scored by the number 10. However, it was Foyle and Londonderry College who dominated the 1st half and produced the lionshare of scores on the board. At half time the score was Cambridge House 3- Foyle and Londonderry College 24.
Cambridge House came back in the 2nd half, scoring three tries, all of which were successfully converted. Despite strong defence by Cambridge House, however, it was Foyle and Londonderry College who exited the game as winners.
At the final whistle, the score was Cambridge House 24- Foyle and Londonderry College 39.

David Workman, President of the IRFU Ulster Branch presented the trophy to the winning team, and all involved received medals for participation. The IRFU Ulster Branch would like to congratulate both teams for their excellent display of rugby, and thanks to the supporters who made the journey with each team.
