face it

Saturdays match proved how much Eddie got wrong at the World Cup

1 Didn't take MoD
2 Didn't take Bowe

3 continued to D'Arcy at centre when he was definitely off form instead of playing Trimble with BoD

4 Continued to play Easterby when a blind on the corner could see he was not the player he had been

5 insisted in playing Muphy on the wing when everybody knows Murphy's best position if only real position at International level is full back

his mistakes since picking MoK before MoD picking Jackman ahead of Best not picking N Best instead of Easterby for the bench not picking Bowe in the first two matches

Playing Murphy on the wing

the backs have only started to look comfortable since Ireland started to play a deep backline instead of the flat backline
ok this may be due Trimble in the backline who does not have the same initial speed as BoD or D'Arcy and therefore needs the space to take the ball at pace but that aside it works

The Irish team don't win because of Eddie but in spite of him
2B or not 2B that is the question ?

Talk about split loyalties – saddened by poor Scottish performance, we were never dangerous despite having the lion share of possession in the first half, and the second half…enough said. :duh:
Great performances by all the Ulstermen on the other hand, looking forward to Friday night. :thumright:
