The A Team has just been announced.

It's a pretty young side (apart from Webb) and captained by Chris Henry. They will be up against it against a good Leinster side.

No Humphreys anywhere - is he just a specialist fly half coach now??

Ulster A Manager Gary Longwell has today named his team to take on Leinster A at Ravenhill tomorrow evening, kick off 6.30pm.
Ulster development player Kieran Hallett will start at fly half and be partnered by Ballymena scrum half Craig Woods who will be hoping to impress at Ravenhill. The backline is an exciting mix of experienced players and younger Academy players like Chris Cochrane.

Gary Longwell said this today,

“Training has been really good this week; the team are really looking forward to the game. We played Leinster at the start and it will be interesting to see how far both teams have come since then. All the matches so far have been very entertaining and we hope the Ulster supporters that come along to Ravenhill tomorrow night will enjoy a good game of rugby”

ULSTER A TEAM

(15-9)M McCrea; P McKenzie, D Cave, R Dewey, C Cochrane*; K Hallett; C Woods; (1-8) J Carey, S Philpot, D Fitzpatrick, N McCombe, S McDonald*, TJ Anderson*, G Webb, C Henry (Capt).

Replacements: P Karayiannis*, C Voisey, S Douglas*, M Wilson; S Mallon, I Whitten*, D Drake*, M Kettyle, O McMurray*.

Could get a right pasting up front, what a signing Seamus Mallon has proved to be as he can't even make a start for the "A" Team.

The two 'missing' players in the announcement of the squad may have been two of these:
P Karayiannis
M Kettyle
O McMurray

Irrespective, at least one of the above has been called straight into the team at a late stage.
