He has done quite well for himself though. Must admit I would like to read it.

I certainly feel that he has done nothing to deserve the hard earned Ulster pound. My curiosity is not great enough to overcome the other impulse that says I will not spend a penny on a book where a share of the purchase price will go to TB.

i read a few of the extracts on the leinster board - it was along the lines of:
"...and then I was man of the match, but then I got dropped for ireland...not fair...not given fair crack of the whip...then they called me up again and they didn't treat me with the utmost respect...sniff sniff...then they dropped me straightaway again...blah blah...leinster should never have beaten us that time...ah well it was a freak result...woof woof"

Yeah - and I bet he had to use a spell checker for that pile of dung too. Pre-supposing, of course, he was able to even thump the key board to produce it on his own in the first place

I think it was ghost written by Gerry Thornley (like TB's HEC Diary).

You'd be hard pressed to find any sports autobio that isn't ghost written.

oh dear what a shame !!

a rather critical review of the book in this issue of Phoenix magazine.

Like the book, the magazine is available to read in Easons during
your lunchbreak for free.

Poor ole Trevor - it just gets worse and worse!! His book in Easons is now, somewhat surprisingly i initially thought, beside a book entitled "Mum, can you lend me twenty quid" with the subtitle "What drugs did to my family". Maybe Trevor has written another book i pondered. A brief perusal of this book reveals a rather sad and depressing tale of one persons sorry and rather inevitable and lonely slide into eventual self destruction. But then the penny dropped and it dawned on me why the management of Easons probably reckoned that the very place to put Trevors book was right beside this one.
