It was harsh taken in isolation D/L but the ref would have been thinking he was not involved in the original incident and shouldn't have got involved at all.

Still you are right that it's a bit much to get carded for pushing but I think the ref was sick of the messing going on and decided to act to put a stop to it.Either way it was silly of Henry to put himself in that position knowing the ref was getting pi$$ed off as he had spoken to Best a few times about stupid little fouls going on.

Henry doesn't come back on... replaced by Muldoon.

A bit of a slap on the wrist for Henry from the coaching team?

he was involved - he was the first irish player at the ruck, and after when there was a bit of shoving he was just standing watching. I think he just happened to be the nearest player. i thought it was bloody weak refereeing

Maybe I was looking at the wrong person D/L.I thought he had come in from further away to get involved. If you're right and I've no reason to think you're not I'd agree with you that it was a poor decision from the ref.

awesome stuff - mcfadden is the spit of d'arcy.. jone certainly looks useful - i remember him for the u-20s, he wasn't first choice, but when he made the team he was the pick of the backs (the year pollock captained). munster have a good one there...
