Coach/bus/minibus/people carrier/car/bike/moped to Connacht?
I realise that these things have not been 'financially' successful in the past, but is there any word on a URSC trip to Galway on 25 September?
Re: Coach/bus/minibus/people carrier/car/bike/moped to Connacht?
If there is one I will be continuing the tradition and joining the trip. ![cheers ](./images/smilies/icon_cheers.gif)

I'll be on it too, if one is organised! Galway trip is always great banter!

Re: Coach/bus/minibus/people carrier/car/bike/moped to Connacht?
I have booked the day off work and intend travelling one way or another.
Would prefer to be part of an official URSC trip though - preferably back the same night/wee small hours.

Despite yesterday's debacle and despite the fact that Goody is threatening to go - I'm hoping to go down myself, once transport arrangements are known.

Very unlikely that URSC will organise a bus. Unfortunately there has been very little support for this over the years. There was a promise over the past two seasons to travel and this has cost a fortune. The last trip to Connacht there were 9 in a mini bus. Given that option others prefer to go by car, even make a weekend of it. A dilemma.....

If anyone really wants to go in a bus Translink runs a service from Belfast to Galway, couple of changes on the route but they all are designed to connect, takes about 6 to 7 hours though and you will have to do an overnighter.

it's drivable in 4 hours and a tank of diesel in a peugeot 308 GT 2.0HDi will see you there and back.
make friends with a tee-totaller and get him to drive. or the 4 non-drivers promise to fill whoever drives with as much beer as they can take before bursting the next day.
win win all round, hopefully for ulster as well...

I don't follow. While last season's trip was a 9-seat minibus I seem to remember a fairly full coach of supporters going down for each of the previous two years. Or maybe that was a coach of reasonably full supporters - plus one unreasonably full one (you know who you are)
