Re: Los Mexicanos entran el Norte
Love coming up to Ravenhill, most enjoyable ground in Ireland for rugby (Lansdowne Road on a 6 Nations Day excepted), whether for provincial or Ireland games.
Thought I was going to miss it this year due to a course I'm doing but happily will be there on the prom.
I'm asuming the members' bar under the main stand will be open? I always love blagging my way in there attired in Leinster gear!

+ 1 , I have only been to Ravenhill once which was last December and despite the freezing cold it was the best craic ever
thanks to the locals and their boistrousness versus the away fans demented shouting / cheering
Look forward to this time round

Re: Los Mexicanos entran el Norte
Is the Rosie event a definite as I could be free and it would be nice to watch an amusing starter before the main event
Re: Los Mexicanos entran el Norte
Don't know why you think it wouldn't be definite as the Rosie has been filled for every event we've advertised this season?Ardglass2 wrote:Is the Rosie event a definite as I could be free and it would be nice to watch an amusing starter before the main event
We're expecting three bus loads of Mexicans about 4:00pm so I would get there early.
Re: Los Mexicanos entran el Norte
Ill be there in good time to watch the exiles play and have a pie and pint. Perfect "warm up" to the big match.
Why? Why not?
Re: Los Mexicanos entran el Norte
The only reason for my clarification is this will be my first Rosie event of the season.
I'll make sure I arrive before the Ladyboys

Well done on the much deserved win , but jesus lads try and have some decent weather for us for once!
Henry, iHumph , Boss were outstanding.
Hope you beat those 's now for both our sake's + chance to get to slag 'em!
Our group of 30+ that joined together had a great time singing all sorts of songs and cheering all sorts of chants as seen below.

If that had been a crowd of they would've been claiming it was 30,000!
Glad you enjoyed your little trip up North.
Don't understand your comments about the weather, I thought it was a beautiful evening for this time of the year, the sun was splitting the trees . Interesting how a victory can make everything seem so wonderful

Only because the noise generated would have made it seem as if there was 30k there. You know, given the fact we are the best supporters in the world.

Glad the Leinster fans, despite the defeat and downpour, had a good laugh.
Is good to see a decent number of away fans at the game, it adds atmosphere. Think saturdays was the most I have seen.
Maybe next time they are up they will go for one of the covered areas rather than the prom!

It always rains when our friends from D4 are up here - something about the grey mists they bring with them covering the blue skies of Ulster

You as in the collective Munster supporters I agree. That night in particular I recall getting some strange looks from my fellow supporters when I inexplicably tried to encourage the team by shouting etc.It is not the only time I have experienced Munster fans confusing Thomond Park with the City Library.Funnily this doesn't happen when Shannon are playing there.the original kimble wrote:Shan,
