I have a feeling Croker may have quite a few empty seats this year. IRFU pricing themselves outta the market. IMHO, £66 is an absolutly extortionate price to pay for a seat in an 80,000 seater stadium, in the middle of a recession. Shows how far removed the IRFU bigwigs are from reality.

part of the issue you're highlighting is due to a 'northern perspective'...
tickets have always been priced at around this price in EUROS

it's the way that the pound has crashed against the euro that makes it look like a massive jump.

cant remember exactly the figures, but i paid around £50 for 6Ns game at croke park. similar money for all blacks. rest of my appearances there have been by blagging a freebie!

£70 for this game to me seems like a reflection of the exchange rate - not a hike in prices by IRFU...

Anyone else having to queue for tickets on Sunday morning because of the postal strike.

Bit concerned it may be a disorganized mess.
How many people do you think are in the same situation.

Sould be that bad, 12,000 tickets so theres going to be less than 6000 people a it did literaly take 30 seconds to go in, show my ticket conformation email and get my tickets!

Id say get to the collection point long before 10 though just to make sure!

Mine were sent up to Ravenhill, picked them up during the week. Based on the list I signed, there were a few hundred others who had also made this arrangement.

Heading down on the 7.30am Airporter bus from Jury's with junior on sunday morning , getting the bus link to Howth Dart station and then on Dart to Clontarf and then short stagger to Croke Pk including a two hour pre match stop in Smyth's pub on Fairview Strand. Hope to bump into some of u. And its the same journey in reverse after the match ending up on the 9pm Airporter bus home from Dublin airport.

rugby club bus. 8 tins of strongbow. pork pies and sausage rolls and maybe even something a bit more interesting than that - eg maybe cold pizza, cold chinese food. soldier song on my ipod on repeat so i can learn the words properly (already know advance australia fair).

how does one go about starting a chant at a sporting emporium such as crokers? waltzing o'driscoll for his 100th test should be rolled out.

Regardless of the EX rates, it's excessive considering the fixture & capacity of the ground.

6 Nation tickets will be €75 each.
