Have you got a source for that? I see claims of automatic 4 pts and 5 pts being awarded all over the message boards, but IMHO it is not the case.

Agreed. I think the "automatic points" thing is a myth or wishful thinking. Back in 2002 the HEC game between Newcastle and Leinster was postponed twice over the weekend and ended up being played on a Tuesday in Leeds. Newcastle were fined for "failing to use their best endeavours" to ensure their pitch was playable or have a contingency in place if it wasn't but they certainly didn't just automatically award the points.
The automatic points "belief" comes from the Viadana (or was it Calvisano) v Leeds game in 2006. In this case Leeds refused to play on one of the pitches provided and were awarded 5 points by ERC. Would have gotten them into the quarter-finals if Leinster hadn't beaten Bath away in the last of the Round 6 matches that year.
You sure it was not Calvisano that refused to play ? was them that got fined and think that was why Leeds got the 5 points.

If the game is postponed till sunday,it will be moved to Llanelli, that area is about to receive further snow,

http://www.scarlets.co.uk/eng/news/3380.php

Due to the adverse weather condition Llanelli RFC's fixture in the British & Irish Cup against Nottingham Rugby has been postponed.

worth checking out here as well,

quote from above.
They obviously haven't looked at the weather down here then or the forecast.

Aye that pitch was deemed unplayable this morning with more snow to fall so why state it will be a back up?

It has just showed the Rec on BBC West news, they have a similar cover, with heaters under it, as Ravenhill had. It looks like the game will go ahead at the Rec. The question mark will be the fans if it freezes/snows tomorrow

Anyone know where they are now? last I heard they were getting on a plane (no mention of where it was bound for). This is'nt some cunning Bath RFC ploy to get them on a plane and fly them as far away as possible

EasyJet website:

The Metrological Office have predicted that Bristol Airport will have snow fall of 5-10cm between 00:00 and 06:00 tomorrow morning. We will continue to review the situation at the airport and strongly advise that all passengers flying from Bristol over the weekend check the status of their flight using our flight checker service before travelling to the airport.

While the circumstances are outside of the airline’s control, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to reassure passengers that we are doing everything possible to minimise the disruption

Leeds refused the 1st replay - and Calvisano refused the 2nd one - it was never explained AFAIK why Leeds were not punished for refusing to play the 1st replay.
