Saints deserved to win - their pack got on top of ours and that's hard to deal with. Lawes was deservedly MOTM. Thought our backline looked more dangerous overall but Foden etc are still capable of very dangerous running.

The whole backline did very well - a big well done to Spence who looked totally at home at that level.

I think the Saints will definitely go on to the Final.

Aye, home advantage should see them through. With that scrum they could damage most sides.
Climb up onto the top of your house and start screaming: 'stand up for the Ulstermen, stand.......'

- Lineout - started okay but fell apart. At this level, there is no reason to lose ball after ball at the lineout. turned into a bit of a shambles.
Agree with your full post ath bar this point.

Stats wise, Day is the best opposing lineout jumper in the prem and Hartley has the highest accuracy in his throwing.

Agree that we missed Ferris today.. was speaking to a Saints fan on the train home and he said that, had Ferris been fit, he thinks we would've had Northampton!

Spence has been a revelation this season. Hopefully he can kick on next year. He can be a massive player for Ulster, Ireland and possibly even Lions!

Spence was phenomenal today. Deserves a shot at the WC warm up games.

Can't really add much to what has already been said. The team will have gained massive experience in regards to the intensity required at this level--especially with Leinster coming up.

From a sporting spectacle the only negative for me was Dylan Hartley burying his forerarm all over P3's face and then claiming to the ref he was bitten--v poor sportmanship  --Massive credit to P3 for not smashing him for it :thumleft: .

Thought the team played well but came up against a better side on the day, would have been nice to have Roger Wilson in white rather than black & green what a loss to Ulster, me thinks Ferris will move sometime in the future. :(

+ve- Great play individually and in continuity. Danielli was awsome and seemed to be enjoying himself. Trimble as always ran very well and his try was great. D'arcy (despite the mistake) played great and ran very well ball in hand. Humph again was amazing and found gaps well and his kicking was immense. Thought Chris Henry had a great game and along with Wallace put in some big hits.

-ve: Few mistakes let us down (although didn't loose use the game). The set peices really need to be worked on as everyone has said.

Overall can't complain, was a great match and although disappointed I'm very proud to be an Ulster fan. :red:

Well I for one hope Darcy does, and I have to say Bopeep that I do really think your wrong, Ferris has only just signed a new Ulster contract, and very much talks the talk of a lifelong Ulster player, especially given that Ulster should be able to pay him Market value
