Dragons vs Ulster TV Coverage!

Post by Digifriendly »

Some important points to note:
(1) According to Radio Times website this will be live on S4C (Sky Digital 134/Freesat 120).
(ii) Red button on BBC (as announced by Stephen Watson last week) may mean satellite only as according to RT website the Scarlets vs Blues is listed for Freeview 301 although BBC red button schedule on BBC website has Dragons vs Ulster listed and this indicates it may be available on Freeview. However last Friday's Dragons vs Cardiff game was listed on EPG as being on 301 and instead we had snooker (probably to facilitate Welsh snooker fans as rugby was already on BBC2W). So don't assume that if EPG has match listed it definitely will be on 301. Here's hoping it will.
(iii) If you want to record on satellite it is much easier via S4C than red button interactive.
(iv) There is no BBC2NI coverage due to local election programme.

Outrageous, Ulster's most important game in 12 years and BBC Ulster say no.

Before you insult somebody you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you insult them you'll be a mile away and have their shoes!

All six games of the final round have been scheduled for Friday evening. No way will all six be televised.

All off until tomorrow so there may be something then if it dawns on the that there may be an appetite for it.

here's a couple of email links for Ulster rugby. I'd suggest emailing them - perhaps if they get sufficient interest, then they'll open the doors!!

It also is listed on Freeview EPG but until 7.00pm on Friday we probably won't be totally sure. As I pointed out earlier Dragons match was listed for last Friday afternoon on 301 and instead we got snooker although this was a simulcast of BBC2. Hopefully BBC will keep to the listings as this will be the only way for many people in NI to see the game live on TV. The Scarlets vs Blues is on BBC2W so I guess as noted in above link it won't be on 301. BTW BBC should never have got rid of 302 on Freeview for when there were 2 interactive streams on Freeview another option was available to show more sport or other material and less people were annoyed than at present.
