Is Goon Still Here?

I am becoming suspicious that he never went away (you know).

I believe he is still skulking about, but don't think he has taken another name.

Is Freddie Benson still here? (and if so, why isn't he running this poll?)
is the original kimble still here? (was he ever all there to begin with?)
Is Cockatrice still here (or did he leave at the same time as the fat controller?)
Is jamesie still here? (or has he f***ed away off to RTE?)
Is Cap'n G still here (or has the crew made him walk the plank?)
Is Bogboy still here (or has he gone for T with Samuel?)
Is Red Hand Supporter still here (or is his support a truss now, not on his hand?)
Is General Prom still here (or has he been strung up by the privates?)
The list goes on ...... and on ..... and on ......

Does anyone REALLY care?

No?

I thought not!

Nice to see he is alive and kicking although I have to admit I thought he may have been UtahOne.
It is a man's own mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways.

Au contraire I quite enjoyed the Goons posts being IMHO quite well reasoned and insightful. Im sure most here had a wee tiff with him now and then but it was great entertainment and as for the "Farewell" post

Welcome back Gooner - I have to admit I was one of those who had a sneaking suspicion that, despite your declared religious non-belief, you were a Mormon from Utah.

It's the silly season now and let's have this year's Goonies - if only as a valedictory.

Your team talk for the MK game has to remain the Forum highlight of the season.

Yes, Mods, I agree that you should let him back if he promises to be a fairly good boy (totally good is clearly impossible).

Has anyone seen this?

It would appear Goons had some censorship issues elsewhere. Wouldn't mind reading what his original point was.

A snippet from Goons post

"Sadly we are in an era when an adult cannot be relied upon to look after his/her own safety. How can people of drinking age reasonably be expected not to fall headlong out of the stand? Fortunately at my great age I shouldn’t live for more than another 10 years or so but I’m sure the Friday night experience should become so restricted that I will welcome the Grim Reaper with open arms."

after censorship by the god fearing URSC of course

He set out to cause offence to as many people as possible - and succeeded.
Many long term posters on this board stopped using it because of him.

Farewell post Namron? There were 313 deaths registered as suicides in Northern Ireland last year, goon thought suicide was a laughing matter, you obviously agree - but then again he also thought cancer was a laughing matter as well.

Glad to be rid of him.
