I've had them on football shirts when I was younger due to my mum placing an iron on one particular area or another for too long! For the sake of changing the shirt I think they could have been a little more creative.Gael wrote:Those hexagons are daft no?

The wife took one look at it and says it was obviously designed by a man

Not any more hideous than the succession of garbage since they decided to swap emerald green for that turgid bottle green. I may be a small c conservative but always liked the original shirt & haven't bought once since the turned bottle green.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

didn't they bring the new ones out only last year?
aren't they banned from bringing out new kit every year or something?

Another one of the great uneducated. Bottle green was the original shirt, Emerald was only brought in at the beginning of the 80's.by BaggyTrousers » Thu Jun 30, 2011 9:26 am

They brought one out for the 09/10 season and kept it for 10/11. They did bring that commemorative one out in November or something but it was only worn once and I would rather wear my pyjamas than that one. I wouldnt have minded if they didn't change it at all except put RWC11 under the badge or something. The hexagons are bloody naff in my opinion.John_e_boy wrote:didn't they bring the new ones out only last year?

The ladyboys have a new jersey out now too with a massive harp on them and two stars above their badge. All of our home/away jerseys were advertised at the start of this season (10/11) with a star above the badge in the pictures on SS Moores, would have loved to have that on the strip but alas they didnt make the final print for some reason.

the Ireland shirt's horrible. I've had cotton supporters ones for the last decade but i wouldn't go near that.
Scotland's kit is ridiculous!
a star for HEC wins would be great, always liked them on Italian football shirts. Would definitely like to see that incorporated onto the Ulster shirt.

marvellous typo fuzzylogic
something like this is my reference point for the star.
just checked out the Rangers one after your post, truly horrible in idea and execution. I may have to reconsider!
