This current one has been getting pushed around the park for 2 games now.

They're to slow and fat to compete with Australia and NZ

Ruan at 15 again, the position he hates. De Villiers doing his best to ruin SA before RWC starts, his masterplan better be a beauty.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

I think his masterplan is proceeding perfectly- if you assume he's working undercover for the NZRU :)

John Afoa, who fractured a cheekbone
anyone any idea how long that will keep him out and could it hurt his NZ world cup chance?

Did not see the game, but all I have read has Pienaar at 9.

Also read that he was slow to get to rucks - was this because he was playing 15?

Ruan was at 9 and he wasn't slow to the rucks.
Thankless task behind a very poor pack of forwards though.
Scrums were a joke in the second half - SA were clueless

Lambie went missing in action at 10.
Steyn was out of position at 15.
Wingers with plenty of gas but butter for fingers.

A complete shambles.

You're not reading the Front Row Union then. Pienaar started at 9 and was switched to full back for the woeful Steyn after 63 minutes. Details here http://thefrontrowunion.com/2011/07/tri ... -africa-7/

So he was at 9 for over 3/4 of the game

By then they were wull beaten and it was damage limitation time.
Both Lambie and Steyn were a joke but then again most forwards were no better.

One of the worse performances I have seen by SA - totally outclassed
