See that they are looking for a site for the new 50m pool as part of the games deal. Why Belfast or Bangor surely the Maze would be a more central place to have it more access for everyone.

The government have a problem with that one Grumps, they refused to buy it a few years ago when they had the chance  Read a bit more HERE

Do you know their is a fear of complancey here, but really whats the point in having a battle about this the deal is done and we will all be sipping glass of bubbly in the next few years to a wonderful success. Ho Hum!

Sadly I recieved a communication late last night of a death threat for carrying on this campaign. I have discussed this situation we my family and advisers and it is with deep regret that I must now pull away from my involvement in this campaign.

I would like to thank the many, many, many PM's I have recieved from well wishers and those offering their support. I have appointed Hollywood Mike as information point and he is currently deciding whether he will now run the campaign. Once again thank you for your support. Long live the MAZE!

Sorry that you have been forced out by foul means, but if you will go on TV and radio, one can only expect this sort of thing.

I will root out the evil and have it dealt with, all is fair in love and war

Deadball - Its Holywood not Hollywood - i have 2 refuse yer offer at this stage but in an effort to endear meself to Craftynick i would point out that for what seems like an eternity i have been supporting the idea of a large Heliport at the Maze, largely i should point out to enable a fleet of Chinooks to ferry us "greater Belfast" folk from Holywood Exchange (where the womanfolk will soon hopefully be able to spend an hour or two at Ikea) to the Maze over and above the inevitable snarl up on the M1. I also now will try 2 ensure that there is landing room for a two person helicopter from Eglington.

HWM....for a man who is refusing to take the campaign on, you are dong a lot to try and 'steal', maybe lure is the word, away from the anti side.

You may think they are fickle, but the womanhood are not and I know they will not be jumping ship or choppers
