New Kit

Post by breakdown »

Will we be getting a new jersey for next year? We normally get a new one once every two years I think, so is it time for a new one?

There are massive reductions in the Kukri store so I would say we definitely will. Mind you, i'm happy with the jerseys we have ATM, don't see the point in a new one.

When are the new kit designs usually released?

The home kit is new this season so should stay the same, the Blue away kit is due to finish and if memory seves me right the striped training shirt is to be the new away kit, but that could all change as the red kit was meant to be finished last season but made an apperance at Clermont.

I think the current jersey is class, the best of the pro era.

We had the current home shirt for 2 seasons. The black, White and red shirt has been the alternate/away shirt with the blue as the Euro shirt. I think the red shirt was worn against Clermont as the euro shirt and the alternate shirt would have 'clashed' with clermonts White kit with blue. The alternate will probably stay with the home and euro shirt being replaced.

Kukri have said that there will be a new kit next season. And it will have more than minor changes.
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

my understanding is that new kit is/was planned but this is now being delayed due to fresh orders being made of kit for final - going to have details of match under the Ulster badge - most stockists should have this by 14 May.

Because of this order going in, plans for new kit are being reassessed

hmm. looking forward to seeing the new jersey but can't really hold it against Kukri if they delay as long as possible to maximise the ERC final potential.

still rocking the blue one that made its solo (i think?) appearance in the spanking away to Biarritz. cracking kit but I'd go for the home one next time round.
