The U20's used him almost exclusively as a 2nd row for his (16?) caps.namron wrote:He is a second row surely?
10 starts as 2nd row
4 as replacement 2nd row
1 as replacement 8*
1 as replacement 11*
* but where did he line out in those games?

Fair enough looks the business anyhooJackie Brown wrote:So was Matt McCullough and he was a very solid 6.namron wrote:He is a second row surely?
We dont need the English to win the European Cup
Re: Next NIQ
I think the idea will be to play Henderson at 6 a lot next season, Birch at 7 and probably Diack at 8. Bring them all up as direct back up to Fez, Chad and Roger. Henderson looked very good tonight, surprised he hasn't featured more.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Giving him a few games at 6 will do him no harm, but I'd expect him to replace Muller whenever he retires.
Re: Next NIQ
I thought you would have Luke Marshall replacing Muller when he retires, to get him in the team, give him the arm band too!Big-al wrote:He's a lock.cables wrote:The U20's used him almost exclusively as a 2nd row for his (16?) caps.namron wrote:He is a second row surely?

Any more on our NIQ?
Re: Next NIQ
It'll be Stevenson replacing Muller when he retires. If we were planning on bringing up Henderson as a lock then I think he should have been playing there last night. The fact that he didn't makes me think he is a replacement for Ferris instead.

Stevenson is a squad player and thats it.ruckover wrote:It'll be Stevenson replacing Muller when he retires. He was garbage tonight.
Yes Hugh, a 5ft 11' centre will replace a 6ft 8' lock.

I wouldnt bother ruck. Big Al has already taken great offence at me mentioning what I'd seen rumoured about Henderson possibly playing in the back row a few weeks ago!by ruckover » Sat May 05, 2012 11:39 pm

So who is our new NIQ?
Surely Humph would have told Quinner, Popey, the bald leinster hooker or the Limerick hosty man tonight - so Mulligan doesn't break it via justin beiber

Henderson will cover 6, and Stevenson will be Mullers replacement. I thought Stevo had a good game!
Chris Henry is superhuman... I think he's half cyborg

You called him lightweight and too short, without actually seeing him play.fuzzylogic wrote:I wouldnt bother ruck. Big Al has already taken great offence at me mentioning what I'd seen rumoured about Henderson possibly playing in the back row a few weeks ago!by ruckover » Sat May 05, 2012 11:39 pm

And if Stevenson replaces Muller we're in trouble. He's an honest grafter and no more.

You called him lightweight and too short, without actually seeing him play.
The words "lightweight" and "too short" feature in none of them.

You said he was too short for a lock and would get blown away, or words to that effect.
I remember the conversation well, basically, you made an Brennan out of yourself.

And if you did take the time to look back, you would see that right now, its you making an ass of yourself.
Infact I can even help you out . . . I said, he's a big lad but is he ever going to have the 6'6 6'7 frame we need in the second row. You then went onto a rant about how much of a hard man he is.....
Looked good tonight, but a hard man, I think now.
