You just want to look (at) a right Cupid Stunt ........

.... but all in the best paassable taste!
Nah - I don't think 'she' was on the original show (KE Video Show) - some of those characters didn't appear till he went over to the Beeb.

Edit - just googled it - apparently Cupid's original name was to be 'Mary Hinge' - but the BBC though IT was too obvious!
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?

The old ITV wrestling shows are on one of the Sky channels most afternoons. I think the programme is called World of Sport. :thumright:

Yes it was, it brings back some lovely memories of sitting with my dearly departed Granda at Saturday lunchtimes watching Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks, Dave Fit Finlay and others.

I loved the aul Granny's beating the bad uns with their handbags and Big Daddy's 'easy, easy, easy' chant

Yep, and it finished just in time to turn over for Dr. Who!

Edit:- Actually, this is a bit of a sentimental issue for me. I too remember watching it with my late grandfather. I've seldom thought about since, but something I read online recently started me following a succession of links on the subject of British wrestling and I turned up a load of facts about the various faces that thinking back, Grandad had tried to relate to me and I'd studiously ignored. That the wrestlers went through different names (Big Daddy used to be the 'Battling Grenadier' or some such) and phases of being goodies or baddies - that there's a name for a 'baddie & a 'goodie' (baddie is a heel, can't remember the good guy one), that Kendo Nagasaki was, or had been half a dozen different blokes and that they sometimes went to the States and did "All-In". My grandfather was generally a bit of a softie and usually humorous, I didn't take him half seriously enough sometimes.

I've no idea why I felt the need to relate that.
