I think the reason for all the banter round here is everyone is waiting on the edge of their seats to see if Ruckover is going to be right for once!kingofthehill wrote:So we have a game on Sunday against the Scarlets I believe.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

That's a big back 5. Possible indication of how they're going to play this one?
Decent team though, looking forward to this one. Wonder when the scarlets will announce their team?

Re: Scarlets v Ulster
If that's the case then fix 1f's knee and appear before Trimble in shape of a bright glowing light instructing him to smite all Welshmen who come before him on Sunday whilst running in 4 tries(he is due a few to be fair, you shouldn't still be punishing him for that altercation with the Munster man) oh and what lottery numbers should I pick as tonight's a rollover?BaggyTrousers wrote:Giuseppe, I can't believe you haven't worked it out yet .................... Some surprises in the starting 15. Wonder if Black is starting to be preferred to Court?
(15-9) Nelson, Trimble, Cave, Luke Marshall, Gilroy, Jackson, Paul Marshall (1-8) Black, Herring, Afoa, Muller, Tuohy, Henderson, Diack, Wilson.
Subs: Best, Court, Fitzpatrick/Macklin, McComb, McComish, Heaney, O'Connor, Bowe.
Impact sub! Mark my words, come on with 20 to go and sprint to the line!

Lutton? Has fat Deccy broke another fingernail, and Macklin run off with Maak's wife in combination with Adam D'Arcy?

Yes KOTH, bit of a surprise alright,we'll hope for the best, he is an athletic big lad and it appears Maaaaaaak is fond of a big backrow.
Wonder will Nipper Henderson & Robbie play left & right rather than open & blind, neither exactly groundhogs.
Pretty attractive selection overall, attempts to reform the backline that ran rings around Fiji in so far as possible. As some may have gathered, whilst I'm sure Scaalets 2s will give a good account of themselves,we will never have a better chance to kill them on their own ground & complete the Welsh Away Slam.
Sadly not the high class 1 & 2 top clash but then the vagaries of the fixture list sometimes goes with you, sometimes against. Given the December fixtures we have been thrown, I won't cry any crocodile tears for them.
Scaaaaaaaalets got Leinster very early this season when the Mexicans couldn't bate eggs & thrashed them, fifty odd as I recall - swings & see-saws.

With talk of Nigel retiring at the end of the season Robbie has chucked in his bid to take over as the 1 to 15 cover man , he has already asked Maaaark about 20mins in the centre some week as his next trial.Wee Woman wrote:Wondered that myself, has he played 7 before?kingofthehill wrote:Diack 7?

You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.
