Its a shame. I dont think a few idiots would deter me from doing my Xmas shopping. I know the Police want to keep the peace but I would expect a much firmer response from them.

Im sorry I even have to post this but the truth is that the police are simply not allowed to clear them. Trust me as much as the Cons on the ground want to they powers that be to this point have not sanctioned simply pulling them to the side of the road and prosecuting a few - even for Jaywalking. That says any scrot gets in my way on my way to Ravers is going to meet the Slap Fairy :cowboy:

Yeah was speaking to a cop and they are frustrated but are told to just let them stay there by the bosses.

The commentator from RTE has got stuck because of the protests. BBC commentary on RTE, which suits me fine.
