Is Ruaidhri Murphy a THP? If not then I really dont see the need for him given we will have Court, MacAllister and Black

Do you not mean LH if you are referring to Court etc.? The one game I saw him playing for the Brumbies he was playing at LH but I distinctly remember the commentators mentioning he could play both sides, but he favoured LH. Besides, is PaddyMac not swapping sides? If so that leaves us short at LH.

Plus with Court getting old, MacAllister could be first choice LhP for Ulster and Ireland within a couple of years!

This is an interesting one, does anyone know the definitive answer? From memory, I remember watching the Ireland U20s (Henderson was playing second row) beat France, away (in Grenoble I think) and the Irish scrum was being absolutely caned until the THP was subbed, with McCall switching to tighthead, and the Irish scrum immediately solidified, in fact IIRC it was dominant for the last quarter or so. I'm pretty sure I've also seen him pack down at 3 for the Ravens a couple of times? But I have no idea where he plays most regularly in the AIL etc?
