I am going to guess Moore is Andy or Kyle who played Ulster under age rep squads and would be known to your new backs coach.robrfc15 wrote:Rainey OB Out:-

Fleming I presume is Jack, a scrum half who played Ballymena 2's this year.
Ards have announced their signings on intouch rugby:
Stuart Paul and Alan Crawford have returned from Ballynahinch, Mark McClean returns from CIYMS.
New players include a further two number 8's from Ballynahinch and Malone

Re: AIL TRANSFERS 2013/14 SEASON
Rainey plundering their mid-Antrim rivals. Interestingly enough am I right in saying that both Rainey and Ballymena will have forwards coaches coaching their backlines in the shape of Andrews and Wells Jr respectively?
Ards destined for another year of staving of relegation by the looks of those signings.
Inst still rebuilding.
I fancy Malone to make a big push next year though I suspect Benade is probably approaching his best before date with a single club.
How are Gannon going to cope with the loss of Magee, Telford and Birch? Three crucial players for them.

Re: AIL TRANSFERS 2013/14 SEASON
Bennett was average any time I saw him play, no better or worse than Shiells was really.
Farquhar and Halsall will be losses alright. Where is Jackson going? Always stood out at Querns.

Re: AIL TRANSFERS 2013/14 SEASON
Ben Howard to Queens from Dungannon
Sam Russell to Queen's from Dromore
Jonny Milliken to Queen's from Larne
Should have a few good guys coming back from long term injury, and hopefully a reasonable crop of school leavers.

Banbridge have confirmed their transfers:
This incoming season will see a number of players returning to Rifle Park following stints elsewhere.
Shandon Scott (Full Back), Chris Leathem (Centre/Wing) and Matthew Irvine (Wing Forward/No. all return to Banbridge following two season spells at Malone.
Miles O'Hagan's return has been a little longer coming, returning to the club where he first played mini rugby before moving onto secondary school and into the senior ranks with Belfast Harlequins. Miles favoured position is full back.
Newcomers Philip Lunn and Andrew Hyde complete the signings at this stage of the season.
Work has brought scrum half Andrew Hyde north from Division 1B side Buccaneers, whilst Philip Lunn joins from Dromore.

Re: AIL TRANSFERS 2013/14 SEASON
Leathem will be a big loss to Malone and a little surprising to see him step down a league, allbeit to club with good promotion prospects. Scott is also talented but makes Ian Humphreys look like Wilkinson when it comes to tackling at 10RuPi wrote:Banbridge have confirmed their transfers:

Cromie is a quality player, probably wont step up further than Hinch, but a good AIL propTighty wrote:Also from the Banbridge RFC website

Murphy is a prat, Hinch are welcome to him
Re: AIL TRANSFERS 2013/14 SEASON
Russ -obviously the Irish under 18 and Irish under 20 selectors plus UR Academy staff have all been deficient in their collective assessments of jonny Murphy's potential. Maybe you should share your knowledge/wisdom with them and disabuse them of their errors in this regard.Russ wrote:Cromie is a quality player, probably wont step up further than Hinch, but a good AIL propTighty wrote:Also from the Banbridge RFC website

Personally I think Jonny Murphy is a great prospect who has been very unfortunate with injuries over the last 3 years
