Munster 2013- 2014
Since another season is to start why keep an old thread
Within this carapace of skepticism there lives an optimist

It's now official.
Munster have more South Africans than we have.
When do we get to call them the MunsterBoks?

NIAMH HORAN – 21 JULY 2013
TWO Irish international rugby players are at the centre of an alleged sex storm this weekend after a girl claimed to have enjoyed a threesome with
The story emerged when a girl private-messaged a friend on Facebook on Friday night to discuss the unplanned rendezvous she had indulged in with the two players.
The contents of their private conversation quickly went viral.
As reports spread, the girl involved deleted her Facebook account on foot of abuse.
The two usually outspoken males have maintained a notable silence on their alleged encounter.
This weekend the woman was subjected to even more online abuse than the two star sportsmen, with many of her peers scolding her for gloating about her three-in-a-bed romp.
The fling is said to have occurred following a night out by the rugby friends at a well-known Dublin nightspot. The players had been drinking at a pub in Dublin's Grafton Street area before heading to an exclusive club where they were entertained in the VIP section.
The young woman told her friend she met the high-profile pair by chance outside a late-night fast-food takeaway.
Speaking about the night she privately joked about her star-studded one-night stand, saying: "I'm a broken woman." But she never expected her comments to go viral.
As word spread of the happening – which some people believe could be an elaborate hoax – online commentators began to voice their feelings about the young woman's antics.
One online poster offered the girl "a bit of advice" telling her to "deactivate" her social networking account and to stay quiet "for a few days", while another took a more optimistic view and simply chirped "congratulations!".
Others decided to take a high moral stance on the matter. One sarcastic critic swiped, "your dad would be so proud", while another asked her about the alleged "scrum session".
But one rugby fan took a rather different view, congratulating her for her team spirit, saying "you absolute hero – you answered Ireland's call".
It's the first incident of its kind to hit the normally clean-cut Irish rugby team, who rarely court controversy off the pitch.

Damian - unless this already in the public domain I think you are treading on very thin ice naming the players on a public forum. you might be wise to edit your post.
Paul.

Re: Munster 2013- 2014

Given that The Sunday Independent refrained from mentioning names I would edit your post.

Then one of them posted the girl on their twatter feed the other day.
This is the bird, she has no shame bragging about it

She's maybe a 5 or a 6 and looks like she has the personality of a boot

Re: Munster 2013- 2014
That is just a bird Zebo tweeted a photo with last week and some website ran a story on it as a potential girlfriend and described her as the 'mystery girl' from his picture.
Re: Munster 2013- 2014
So who exactly got hurt by whatever did or didn't happen between consenting adults?
Re: Munster 2013- 2014
Im not complaining!
Im sure her life is going to be a little crap for a period. Rumour has it that some J1 player who with them released the her name and then this girls 'mates' released screenshots of all their whatsapps conversations. Now the girl has left the country.

Re: Munster 2013- 2014
Even bigger scandal than that.
The wannabe winger/faux hardman (when picking on scrumhalves only) O'Mahony has been named as Munster captain.
He better grow up fast or it'll be a feckin disaster.

Re: Munster 2013- 2014
Really liked the cut of Munster's jib last night.
The new style seems to be bearing fruit.
Good start to the season.
BTW watched a lot of it on Rugbaidh Beo on BBC Alba last night as well as Rugbaí Beo on TG4
There was only the odd bit of Gaelic as the only the commentator spoke the lingo and so all his chats with his partner and
everyone else was in English or something very like it.
