Who could blame Ruan for wanting to leave, he's a world class player and naturally would want to be playing with Europes elite, he can only ensure that by playing for a side guaranteed Anglo-French Cup Rugby next year

He did say when he arrived here that he would like to try a couple of seasons in France before he went home. Still gutted if he goes though.

We should not be surprised if our best player is being courted by other teams during the last year of his contract. Since he is possibly in negotiations with Ulster, he’s not going to turn down anyone flat.

We all need to relax and let things take their course.

The deal is done but nothing is nothing signed because RCT do want to break the rules. But the deal is done

L'Equipe are a very reputable Sports paper, doubt they'd have stuck their big foot into this if they weren't confident in what's going on.

Good luck Ruan.

Then nothing is done yet. Until Pienaar has signed on the dotted line, Toulon have diddly squat. Verbal agreements are never reliable.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

I suspect RP is off to RCT NEXT season. We knew it was a strong posibility. We still have this season to play FFS.

I wonder are we still aiming for a scrumhalf to control the game or does MA favour a more traditional set-up with 10 in charge? Will the new scrum laws mean that 9s have more other things on their minds and their role will return to getting the ball cleanly to the 10? Lots of unknowns here. Not least - will I go to Galway tomorrow?
