Thought Google Translates effort would at least provide a laugh:
FFR noted the press release issued today by the National Rugby League. FFR recalls that by virtue of the delegation as it receives from the state that the IRB regulations and the terms of the FFR-NRL agreement, no meeting or international competition involving French clubs can be organized outside the framework of the FFR and without its prior agreement.

The FFR has always been and remains a major actress of European Cups organized by the ERC and of proposals to enable the sustainability and development of them. If the FFR supports optimization of European Cups, the organization can not be considered under the auspices of the European federations up to date the ERC.

A mediation process and discussions initiated by the IRB and the ERC is currently switched between all stakeholders.

Papers published today therefore appear irrelevant and inappropriate.

If as appears likely the FFR are not going to be facked about by their clubs it's time the Unions went on the offensive and say they are 100% committed to ERC organising the competitions and will not sanction any club junket.

IRFU could now put out something strongly worded saying that the provinces will not complete in any "illegal, unsanctioned tournament" and reiterate the facts i.e. the unions organise rugby and will not be pushed about by a guttersnipe like McCafferty.

Oh you won't get me I'm part of the Union
you won't get me I'm part of the Union
you won't get me I'm part of the Union
'til the day I die, 'til the day I die.

I think the IRFU are making a major mistake here. They should definitely accept EFDR's invitation on behalf of Connacht.

We, Premiership Rugby Ltd, not only wish to run your domestic arrangements, but decide the colour of your shirts, your player welfare, the songs your supporters sing and how you spend the loose change you are given from our competition.

I think the word "run" could easily have been "ruin"

Under the new rules of the Anglo-French Cup I think Connacht are less likely to qualify than they are under ERC. Be honest, they will be doing extremely well to finish in the top 6 anytime soon - last night highlighted that. They only threatened us twice in the 80 minutes.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

I think this is a great chance to get teams like Hinch, Lansdowne, Ballymena and company some serious competition and exposure.

Correct BR, they threatened us twice, once for 40 minutes and 2nd the last 8 minutes.
