Ricky Andrew was very good and took a lot of confidence by making yards with his first few touches with the ball. It perhaps made him too confident though because he went past men easily to start with, but they started to rumble him as the game progressed and knew that he was going to try to run most of the time - and why not - it had worked before?rorybestsbigbaldnoggin wrote:Cave, McKinney and Diack all good - but did no-one think Ricky Andrew was very good? He always seemed to evade at least the first tackle, if not the second, and was solid under the high/long ball.
Don't get me wrong - I think he played very well, but with more experience he will learn to try to mix it up a bit and keep the opposition guessing as to what he was going to do, and therefore help make more yards for the team, but not necessarily himself.
Well played though Ricky - well played. A work in progress.
